Many boat builders now select the Wichard padeyes for point of both
permanent and intermittent attachment. All are drop forged from "HR" high
resistance stainless steel for maximum strength. Since they fold down, the angle of
applied load is always favorable and therefore they will not bend.
The crew likes them because they fold down out of the way and the silicone pad prevents
noise and vibrations.
The double padeye enables both the babystay and the staysail tack to a single point.
The tee terminal fits into a universal base plate. Thanks to its
pivoting function, it is a strong and innovative system for anchoring light rigging or
life lines.
