Snubbers

For quick and easy snubbing of anchors, chain, slings or rope loops.  Can also be used as a quick release tie down.  Two stainless steel snap shackles or a shackle and a U-Bolt on a nico-pressed Cable.

Extendible Rescue Pole

A choice of an 8' or a 12' collapsible aluminum pole with a clip attached to it that holds our 2454 double action safety hook in the open position until hooked onto a ring, loop or mooring line.  Then one easy pull on the pole closed the safety hook and separates it from the pole.  Tether not included.

Spinnaker Peeling Strops

Our new trigger release snap shackles joined at their bales make excellent connecting strops for temporarily holding the guy during a running spinnaker change or "peel".

Forged from 17.4ph stainless steel, the strops will easily stand up to the dynamic loads expected on a peel.  We have carefully joined the bales to prevent any loss of strength to the snap shackles and of of course they are polished and passivated to our legendary standard.

Care should be taken when deciding on size. Type of boat and rig should be taken into consideration.  When in doubt as to size you need, please call 800-852-7084 for technical advice.

Snap Hook and Ring System

We have captured our NA885 forged stainless steel ring onto a Wichard 2325 snap hook to create an excellent connecting system for webbings up to one and one half inches.  A second NA885 completes the system and provided over 2600 lbs. of safe working load.

Inner Forestay Systems

These systems are designed for easy set up and removal of an inner forestay to rig a storm sail or a stays'1 quickly when the weather suddenly turns bad.  Just select an adjuster for quick tensioning the stay, pick a folding padeye for deck connection and our stowage clip to hold the stay out of the way when not in use.

Lazyjack Systems

Our unique lazyjack system is designed to contain and restrain the mainsail while reefing and furling.  The system is attached to mast and boom by Wichard snap hooks so it can be completely removed from the boat or moved outboard to the life lines while racing.  We've also made the Wichard lazyjacks strong enough to be used as a topping lift for boats with extreme roached mainsails.  The lazyjack kits come complete with hardware, rope, fasteners and installation directions.

Boom Vangs and Preventers

Vangs are used primarily to hold the boom down and to provide greater mains'1 trim flexibility in strong winds.  They are also useful in preventing an accidental <<flying gybe>> which can be dangerous to the boat and the crew.
We have created four Vang/Preventers to fit all boats from dinghies to large racer cruisers.  The small, medium, and large sizes feature our forged snap shackle blocks for quick attachment to boom and deck or rail.  The mini version comes with our forged D shackles.
