This wind indicator has been designed for accuracy and durability and has been tested with extensive use. Ref 7201 has a reflective tape for better night vision. The universal base plate can be top or side mounted. The shaft will fit most other current model base plates with the adapter supplied. Unique safety harness tether which combines strength and elasticity. Retracts from two to one meter when not in use yet carries a breaking strength of 4580 lbs. Provides great freedom of movement. Wichard safety tethers conform to most of the current European standards for marine safety (nov. 1",96:BSI, DIN, and the US ORC).

Torlon ball bearings contained within a nylon collar provides an extremely smooth adjustment and reliable locking mechanism.  Ergonomic handle fits your hand comfortably.  Easy access trigger is a simple pull of the trigger.  Stainless steel mounting joint rotates 360 degrees.
